Elaine Daae started her career in helping others over 25 years ago when she received her diploma in Justice Administration here in Calgary. She then went on to Simon Fraser University to continue her studies in Criminology. She also worked as an EMT for a number of years before moving to Calgary where she began working for the Calgary Police service as a communications officer in 1990.

Elaine chose to explore the field of hypnotherapy after attending a workshop here in Calgary where hypnotherapy was used. After that incredible experience she decided to take her son, who has Asperger syndrome, to a hypnotherapist in order to see if they could work with some social and developmental issues. For Elaine’s son, the results were spectacular and it was at this point she chose to learn more about hypnotherapy become trained as a hypnotherapist herself. Elaine has now designed a complete program for children with Asperger syndrome, PDD, ADD, ADHD, OCD and other behavioral issues and has had some remarkable successes working with these children and adults.

Working shift work and straight nights for most of her 18 year career with the police, has also prompted her to develop a program for people with sleep issues and sleeping disorders. She has also has a good understanding of highly stressful situations and has dedicated much of her time to working with people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress disorders and anger management issues.
